People don’t realize the danger they are putting themselves in when they leave the warm confines of a heated building. Frostbite and hypothermia are serious injuries. Of course there are times that you have to go outside. Go to work, go to the grocery store, etc. Of course people should enjoy winter sports and recreation. It’s important to get out of the house, but be prepared. Make sure you have an extra coat or blanket in the car. Boots and gloves too. Breaking down just a mile from home in freezing temperatures and blowing winds can put you in a bad spot. Too many people leave home under dressed with no survival clothes in the car. Take a few minutes and fix that. Goodwill, Salvation Army and other such stores have coats and boots for very little money. Go for warmth, this isn’t a fashion statement.
