If you have a son or daughter that is driving this winter, they need to take our class. You don’t need to be an active winter outdoors person to find yourself in a situation that could be life threatening. From January through April 2014, 27 hypothermia deaths occurred in Wisconsin alone. From 2003 to 2013, 13,419 hypothermia deaths occurred in the United States. You might be thinking that they were all elderly people with no heat. While that is a horrible problem, many of the Cold Weather Deaths occurred in perfectly healthy people ranging across the age spectrum. Fortunately all Cold Weather related deaths are preventable. Preparation and education is the key. Along with death is a myriad of other Cold Weather injuries that are avoidable. Our class at the Home School Building in Wyoming MI, January 19th, 2016 from 10 to noon, will teach you or your young people the knowledge needed to prevent, frost bite, trench foot, hypothermia and more. Go to the contact page to sign up for a class. If the Jan 19th class is filled, we will put you on the list. It’s only $15.00 for the class and it could save you or a loved one a life time of misery or worse! ATTENTION: Classes are now on a donation basis. We do not want anyone to be left out. We need money of course, but people are more important. Donate at the time of class.
